What's News. What is it?

Welcome to What's News, a website featuring news and information for employees of the Orange County Department of Education.

You’re probably familiar with OCDE’s long-running What’s News newsletter, which has spanned the decades in its various forms. Well, this is the biggest change yet. What’s News is now a website that will be updated regularly with stories and photos documenting OCDE and the hundreds of dedicated professionals who make our organization tick.

Naturally, we’ll still spotlight our Employees of the Month and run popular features like the Superintendent’s Message and Pets Corner. We’ll also continue to provide coverage of HOCO events, upcoming activities and personnel changes. But moving to this online format allows us to cover even more, and you won’t have to wait until the start of each month to see What’s News. You can visit us anytime on your work computer at whatsnews.ocde.us.
